Do Not Fear
Main Scripture: Isaiah 41:10
Are there times that you sit in bed at night and let fear and worry eat you alive? It may be the fear of failing a test, the fear of a loved one getting sick, or even the fear of COVID-19. Although some might not want to admit it, we all have fears.
Take a minute and think of something that you are fearing right now? For me it is fear of the COVID-19 and how it is/will affect my fairytale wedding. I have dreamed of this day my entire life and the “rona” has completely changed it in the past month and things are still up in the air. Sometimes we may not understand why we go through the things we do but there is no need to fear and worry about what the future holds because guess what?! God’s got us!
God tells us in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
That scripture is so rich! When you find yourself lying in bed at night letting fear eat you alive, remember, where we can get strength from… God. When we face fear remember, “I will strengthen you and help you.” Do not fear, look to God to find your strength and peace.
