How Strong is your faith?

Main Scripture: Daniel 6:10

Daniel 6:10″Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being opened in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did a foretime.”
This is a great verse about a man of God praying. I love Daniel because from day one of his captivity he knew who he was in God. He and his friends did not eat of meat and wine that was offered, but ate fruit and vegetables. At the end of the ten days they looked better than the other captives.

Another time his friends were given the choice to worship a golden image or face a fiery furnace. They chose the furnace and said our God can save us, but if not, we will still not worship your gods.
Back to Daniel, people hated Daniel only because

he loved God, and only did what was right. But this writing was not to pray to any other gods for thirty days. Daniel did not say a word, he just went to his room and did what he did every day, Pray.

We may never be taken in captivity or threatened with a literal fiery furnace or a real lions den. But we are going to face questions about our faith and how strong is your faith? Are you ready to stand firm like Daniel? We all need to ask ourselves now!

Love and Blessings,
