Trust, For He Is Already There

Main Scripture: 1st Peter 5:7

“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”

1 Peter 5:7

Do you just ever have a bad day? Or maybe even a bad week? It is so easy to get stressed out and worried when life throws you a lot of curve balls. It could be school, work, family, friends, money, or anything that causes you to lose sleep at night. A worry is a worry no matter how big or small.

I don’t know about you guys but there has often been times where I can’t seem to fall asleep because I have so many worries and thoughts running through my head. “Did I turn off the oven?” “What if I forget that I need to do that tomorrow?” “What if what I need to get done just doesn’t get done in time?” Well the neat thing is, we don’t need to worry, for if we just give all of the worries to God, He takes control and handles them.

Tonight, when you go to rest your head on your pillow, I urge you to remember to stop stressing and letting those worries run wild in your head and give it to God. For He will take care of each and every single thing in your life. He has already walked every single day in your life with you right by your side. When times get tough, remember the footprints in the sand, “Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You’d walk with me all the way. But I notice that during the saddest most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me. And God whispered, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you. Never, ever, during your trials and testings, when you only saw one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.” Let Jesus carry you through this life when times get tough, He is already right beside you.

Love and Blessings,
